In the valley of Fonteno, nestled between Lake Sebino and Lake Endine, it is possible to take pleasant walks along paths and mule tracks. It is a tourist area that offers a holiday focused on relaxation and is the ideal place for nature lovers, sports enthusiasts, and food connoisseurs. Fonteno (613m), a typical mountain village, accessible via the Cavallina valley, is situated on a sort of natural balcony overlooking Lake Iseo and Val Camonica, a place where nature reigns supreme and landscapes form an enchanting frame. On the hills surrounding Fonteno, there are numerous farmhouses where you can purchase cheese and other dairy products. Not to be missed is the large green and blue bench in Fonteno overlooking Lake Iseo, which offers a splendid view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. A few kilometres away is the small medieval village of Riva di Solto, with its ancient palaces, century-old gardens, and the evocative Lakeside promenade, featuring the Bogn Gorge, a breathtaking inlet that represents one of the most attractive natural surprises of Lake Iseo, with steep rocks and crystal-clear waters bathing a small pebble beach. From Riva di Solto, you can take a ferry to visit Monte Isola, a mountain in the middle of Lake Iseo declared one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. The entire apartment offers Wi-Fi, an independent entrance, and is located on the Green Road near Milan, Bergamo, and Brescia. It features a seasonal panoramic swimming pool with solarium, a private garden (with child safety gate) furnished with a barbecue, a living area from which you can admire both the lake and the mountain. At the back, there is another private area where you can relax on a swing or use the dining area. The living area has a sofa bed, a smart TV with NETFLIX, a fan, a kitchen equipped with all utensils (pots, plates, cutlery, glasses, wine glasses, cups, coffee cups) and appliances (electric oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, Bialetti coffee maker, refrigerator, and dishwasher). Bathroom with shower and bidet. Also available are a hairdryer, washing machine, and clothes horse. The pool is accessible from 8 am to 8 pm, with a mandatory shower before entry. Diving, playing ball, running, eating meals are not allowed, and children under 12 must be accompanied. Available from 20 April to 30 September only for apartment guests. The house has two sunbeds that can be brought to the pool area and then returned at the end of the day. Free Baby Set: Next to me cot, high chair, baby bath. Extra services: Possibility of an additional bed up to a maximum of 5 adults and one baby, linen, late check-in/out. The village square is 250m away and has a bar, a small market, post office, and bus stop. A small market is set up every Thursday. A few minutes by car are the Boario thermal baths, supermarkets (Iperal, Eurospin...), pharmacies, restaurants, pizzerias, sushi, bank, newsstand, hairdresser. Nearby are various viewpoints and several trekking routes. Free parking nearby and free Wi-Fi. The nearest airport is Bergamo Orio al Serio, about 35 minutes away. To visit the best places around Lake Iseo, you need to have a means of transportation.
